ICYM

ICYM Pamboor celebrated its 37th annual day on 21st February 2016 at Silver Jubilee Memorial Hall of Holy Cross Church Pamboor. The programme started at 3:15PM. Rev.Fr.Paul Rego parish priest and director of ICYM presided over the function, Mr.Herald Dmello headmaster of Pamboor aided primary school was the chief guest followed by Mr.Derick Mascarenhas President of ICYM central council,Animator of ICYM Mr.Lucas Dsouza,President and secretary of ICYM Anil Martis and Jyothsna Menezes were present on the dais. 

The programme started by lighting the lamp. Anil Martis Welcomed the gathering and Miss Jyothsna Menzes read out the annual report. The prizes were given away to the winners of crib competition. Mr.Herald during his speech told that the youth of pamboor has been shining in the diosece since many years and has always helped the parish school when ever needed. Mr.Derick Mascarenhas adviced to transform ICYM for activity based organization into Action oriented organization by   organizing programmes for the betterment of youth and the nation. Rev.Fr.Paul in hios presidential addressed that the youth must be transformed by faith and must transform the nation. Fr.Paul handed over a memento Mr.Herald Dmello. 

Mr.Brindon proposed the vote of Thanks. Sujith Quadras compered the formal function. Austin Noronha compered the cultural programme. Various entertainment programme was organized.
