The Bishop of our diocese Rt. Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo visited our parish on 6 June 2015. He arrived at 3:30 pm and was welcomed by a huge crowd of parishioners. After the welcoming ceremony he along with the parishioners visited the cemetery and prayed for the souls of the people resting there. He then preached the Catechism for Sacrament of Confirmation to the children who were to receive it on Sunday 7 June 2015.

The Sunday Mass started at 7:30 am. The Eucharistic Mass was celebrated by the Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo along the parish priest Rev. Fr. Paul Rego and Rev. Fr. Nicholas Martis. During the homily he told about importance of the Sacrament and how the arrival of the Holy Spirit on the apostles of Jesus gave them the power to proclaim Jesus everywhere in the world and gave a call to the children receiving the Sacrament and the parishioners to strengthen their faith in Jesus and proclaim Jesus .After the homily the Bishop conferred the sacrament of confirmation to 18 boys and 18 Girls of our parish.

After the mass he met various organizations and the commissions of the parish and addressed them about the plans of the diocese and to gain the benefits that the government provides us. On 8 June 2015 Bishop gave his visit to two sick persons in the parish prayed for them. He visited the Church School and addressed the students and teachers.
