Holy Cross church Pamboor Shanthipura celebrated the nativity of Mary with great fervor. The ceremony started at 7:30AM.Rev. Fr. Paul Rego conducted the blessing of  the new corn. The children had brought the flowers well arranged in plates, baskets  which were offered to Mary singing ‘Moriyek Hogalsiam’.

The eucharistic mass started at 8AM Rev.Fr.Paul  Rego celebrated the mass. The liturgy was conducted by the children. During the homily Fr.Paul spoke about the importance of mother in a individuals life and related the same on how Mother Mary was important to Jesus. The people who helped with a contribution for the novena were felicitated. ICYM members were congratulated for being  the runner up champions at “Yuva Mel Gadhya Khel” at Kuntalnagar. The parish magazine "Khursaacho Taalo" was released by Mr.Ronald Sequeira and the prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions organised by khursacho taalo. Cake was served after the mass.
