The Catechism Sunday was held on 2nd March 2014 along with the thanksgiving mass celebrated by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr Paul Rego. The entire liturgy was conducted by the children. The melodious ‘Children Choir’ gave a special tone to the celebration. Prayers and offertory gifts added colours. Children were felicitated with nice religious mementoes / prizes, those who daily attended for catechism and those who obtained marks above 75%. Catechism teachers were also felicitated with gifts and gratitude and applause from people.
   
The evening programme started at 4 pm. sharp along with the stage function. The chief guest Sr Thelma spoke on the ‘Christian values’. The president Parish Priest emphasized on respect to elders, parents and teachers and to love Jesus, giving Him the first priority. The vice president Mr Prakash Noronha, Secretary Mrs Asumptha D’Souza were present.
   
The entire celebrations were co-ordinated by Mrs Lenny D’Souza who is the catechism Co-ordinator. She too was felicitated.
   
Every class staged what they’ve learnt from catechism through drama, songs, dance etc. Priyanka Noronha and Reeshal Sequeira compeered the evening programme.
