Maundy Thursday Observed

March 28, 2024 : Maundy Thursday is observed to commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with his disciples before his crucifixion. This day is also termed as priesthood day as this day he spread the message of serving one another. The Maundy Thursday service commenced at 5PM. The service was led by our parish priest Rev.Fr.Henry Mascarenhas. During the mass Jesus's act of washing the feet of his disciples was symbolically enacted by washing the feet of 12 parishioners. After the mass the holy sacrament was taken and placed at the altar of repose and adoration was held.
