The Feast of the Triumph of the Holy Cross is observed by the Roman Catholic Church on 14 September, where the faithful gather to exalt and venerate the Holy Cross by which Christ redeemed the world. This feast is celebrated a day prior to the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. The Servite Rosary, dedicated to our Lady of Sorrows, is recited with great reverence over the preceding week in preparation for this feast.

Since our parish is dedicated to the Holy Cross, this feast is celebrated by all parishioners with great fervour and devotion. A special Eucharistic celebration was held on 14th September 2024 at 5pm. The Servite rosary was recited prior to the commencement of the mass. The Eucharistic mass was celebrated by Rev.Fr. Dennis Saldanha who serves as the Assistant Parish Priest and the Spiritual Director of the Konkani community in Sharjah Parish, UAE. Our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Henry Mascarenhas and Rev Fr. Fredrick Pias (Parish Priest of St Lawrence Church, Mallandur - Chikmagalur Diocese) were the co-celebrants. The liturgy was proficiently conducted by the Parish Liturgical Committee in honour of our patron.

The parishioners devoutly attended the mass in huge numbers. Our parish priest, Fr. Henry conveyed his best wishes to all parishioners and sincerely thanked the sponsors for their generosity. After the celebratory mass, snacks were distributed to all the gathered parishioners.
