The Parish priest of Holy Cross Church Pamboor Rev.Fr.Paul Rego Celebrated his 50th birthday on 06-06-2014. The celebration started with the Eucharist celebrated by Rev.fr.Paul Rego ,accompanied by Rev.fr.Henry Alva, Rev.fr.Nicholas Martis and Rev.fr.Louis Dsa, preached the homily. The parish pastoral council under the leadership of the vice president Mr.Prakash Noronha and secretary Mrs.Assumptha Dsouza organised a beautiful felicitation after the mass.

The Parish Priest along with his mother and sisters expressed his joy by cutting the exuberant cake. Rev.Fr.Henry Alva wished Fr.Paul on behalf of the parishioners and wished him good health and success in his mission. Vice President and Secretary of Parish Council Mr.Prakash Noronha and Mrs.Assumptha Dsouza presented the “Maan Pathr” to Fr.Paul and the gurkaars of 14 wards and the heads of various associations presented the floral bouquets and garlands. Fr.Paul Thanked everyone who attended the celebration in a big numbers especially the parish council,complimented the people and asked for people’s co operation in all the jubilee projects and the pastoral work in the parish. Mr.Prakash Noronha proposed the vote of thanks and Mrs.Saritha Alva compered the programme. Hundreds of Parishioners and well wishers  attended and prayed for Fr.Paul. The programme ended at 6:00pm with cake ,snacks and coffee.
