Catholic Stree Sangatan, Pamboor Chapter celebrated the 25 year Silver Jubilee on 20-10-2024 in the Church hall. The dignitaries of the day were V.Rev.Fr.Msgr Ferdinand Gonsalves - Vicar General of Udupi Diocese as the president of the programme, Guest of Honour Rev.Fr Reginald Pinto - Director of Sampada Udupi, Chief Guest Mrs Mary Srestha - Advocate, Notary Public, Registrar of Christian Marriages and Property Consultants, Rev.Fr.Henry Mascarenhas Parish Priest and Spiritual Director, Rev.Fr.Leslie Dsouza- Correspondent of Don Bosco School, Shirva, Catholic Stree Sangatan, Pamboor Chapter- President Mrs Eugene Dsouza and Secretary Mrs Janet Mathias, Parish Pastoral Council - Vice President Mrs Asuntha Dsouza and Secretary Mr Tony Monis, Mrs Violet Castelino Coordinator of Pastoral Commissions. Mrs Eugene Dsouza welcomed the dignitaries, the guests and the gathering. V.Rev.Fr.Msgr Ferdinand Gonsalves congratulated the women wing for their effort and work they have done in the last twenty five years. The Secretary Mrs Janet Mathias read the report of Catholic Stree Sangatan, Pamboor Chapter. Rev.Fr. Reginald Pinto encouraged the women to continue the good work and thanked the men for their support. Rev.Fr. Henry Mascarenhas thanked women for their support and work they do in the Parish and wished them all success in their future endeavours. The previous Presidents of The Catholic Stree Sangatan,Pamboor Chapter were Honoured and thanked for keeping the spirit of Stree Sangatan alive. Mrs Asuntha Dsouza enlightened all the women of the parish to unitedly work for the progress of Onself, Family and The Parish Community. Mrs Mary Srestha spoke about the societal issues and the action to be taken to overcome. Rev.Fr. Leslie Dsouza congratulated and wished the women for their Success. Mrs Violet Castelino proposed the Vote of Thanks.
The programme concluded with a dance, song and skit. Food was served for all gathered.
