Christmas eve mass at Holy Cross Church, Pamboor started at 7pm with melodious Christmas Carols sung by the Church Choir. The Eucharistic Mass started at 7:30pm Rev. Fr Paul Rego was the main celebrant. Rev. Fr Paul during the homily tried to get answers from the parishioners to the following questions:

1.What is Christmas?

2. What is meant by the word Emmanuel?

3. Why did Jesus come to the world as a man?

And he gave away the prizes to the people who gave right answers. After the mass the Fr Paul conveyed his greetings and thanked everyone who helped for the ceremony, the brides getting married in this month were felicitated. The church magazine “Khursaacho Taalo” was released by Mr Albert D’Souza, the Gurkaar of Holy Cross Ward and the winners of ‘Crossword Competition’, ‘Captioning the Photo’ were awarded with  prizes.

ICYM unit organized a cake auction and was auctioned by Loyal D’Souza and Lester Sequeira and a sum of Rs.32000 was collected and will be donated to Church School for installing CCTV cameras, The ‘Lucky Dip Draw’ was held and the ‘Christmas Tree Competition’ results were announced. Hundreds of parishioners came together and celebrated the festival of Joy and Happiness.
