Maundy Thursday was celebrated on 2 April 2015 to commemorate the last supper of Jesus Christ with his apostles. Rev. Fr Paul Rego was the main celebrant of the Eucharistic celebration.
Rev. Fr Paul during the homily explained about the three important things of the day i.e.
1. The Last Supper,
2. Jesus created the sacrament of priesthood,
3. Spreading the message of neighborhood.
He also gave a call to the parishioners to pray for the ex parish priests who served the parish. During the last supper Jesus washed the legs of the apostles and spread the message of neighborhood and to serve one another so to commemorate this Fr. Paul washed the legs of 12 youths from different wards. After the mass the Eucharistic sacrament was taken to altar of Repose for adoration. Fr. Paul conducted the adoration and the ceremony ended at 7 pm.
